KunstTour big Succes!!!
The KunstTour 2010 @ the LBB was a unique event.
It wasn't unique because there where more than 400 people having a blast in the building. On a regular event, that's already achieved in the first two hours.
It wasn't unique because we only sold organic food & drinks at around cost-price.(1)
It wasn't unique because the art object itself was made in the course of 7 years out of 99% recycled material and with 100% voluntary energy.
It was not even unique because we did it without external funds. (2)
Those feats are taken for granted (3)so much in the LBB, they tend to get lost in the background noise.
No, it was a unique event because for the first time we didn't have to do any cleaning at all afterward!!

You and your respectful behavior made it special!
So, as you will all understand, it is with great pleasure that I thank you all for enabling me to write this from the LBB's USB-equipped sauna.(5)
Of course the fact that those 400 people had they're eyes opened to the less well known sides of squatting in general, and the LBB in particular, was not bad either!
1: I hope you guys 'n galls don't mind the recent price bump; we wouldn't have done it if we didn't have to.
2: If I told you the story about the €275.000 of mandatory safety alterations that we did in 2005, with just €5.000 of your tax money, I'd be bragging even more!

KunstTour 2010
Tijdens de KunstTour 2010 presenteren wij ons gebouw en de inhoud daarvan.
Van de duiven in de panorama-toren tot de muizen in de opslagkelders.
Dit maal geen bonte groeps-expositie, maar onze oude graanfabriek zelf als levendig kunstwerk.
Op za 22 t/m ma 24 mei, van 12.30 tot 17.30 worden er drie soorten rondleidingen gegeven:
- Mini: alleen de begane grond, +/- 20 min.
- Medium: alles behalve de torenkamer, +/- 45 min.
- Maxi: alles, +/- 60 min
Trek uw stoute schoenen aan en waan u even een echte kraker!

Band Avond / Tyres Night

The party was a lot of fun, too bad it ended with some idiots emptying two fire extinguishers.
The fire extinguishers are in no way damaging for you're health, but they probably are for our equipment. We are happy that the evacuation of the party went smooth, thanks for the cooperation! More info about this incident will follow.
